This renovation of a limestone located in the Prospect Lefferts Historic District, was a true collaboration between owner and architect to reconfigure a townhome that was previously renovated in the 80s. Major changes in the plan – inserting a directional solid that is the powder room unit plus built-in refrigerator dictates the ground floor circulation, opening up the rear façade towards the garden, opening up the kitchen wall to include dining area – were made to accommodate the open living and views desired within a compact house and lot.
